I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt

of Mr. Scott's letter No.7 in Fed.Sec.S.2284/1929 dated 17th

January.

The services of Dr. R. B. Jackson and Mr. Deb

are urgently required in this Colony and I shall therefore be glad if their transfer may be effected at the earliest possible date which the convenience of Your Excellency's

Government will permit.
